Have you found an unbelievable deal on a new pet and the seller has asked you to pay for shipping via Western Union or Money Gram? It is most likely a scam. Fake adoption SCAMS are all over the Internet.
Pet scams are on the rise! Scammers and criminals will say anything to grab your attention. “FREE PET! Just pay for shipping. Here is the name of the shipper: AeroPets Animal Transport”
Don’t be a victim! Do your research, and call/email us immediately if you think you’ve been targeted!
Some warning signs:
- Purebred animals are NEVER free, these deals sound too good to be true and probably are.
- The seller has directed you to our website and it is not aeropets.com.au, but it is some sort of variation, that is not our website.
- Payment is required in a non refundable method, reputable pet transport companies do not require payment via such means.
- The phone number they have given you is usually false.
Please ensure you don’t pay any money until you have fully verified all the information.
